Coach-Assisted Open Match Play is built for DUPR 3.0 and below. One hour of coached games, then two hours of rotating partners, with feedback on technique, positioning and decisions.

How do I book a court?
Use the Book a Court page to pick a venue, day and time at Cosmos Arena or Starlite. Leave your WeChat ID or email and our reception will get back to you to confirm.
How much is open play?
Weekday mornings are ¥29, weekday afternoons and evenings ¥39, and weekends ¥39 to ¥49 depending on venue and time. See the full schedule on the Play page.
What if it rains?
Cosmos Arena and Haihua Island are fully indoor. Starlite has 3 air-conditioned indoor courts, and its 4 rooftop courts are covered by weather canopies with cooling fans.
How do I get to Cosmos Arena?
Take Metro Line 16 to Shangjing Station and use Exit C. The arena is about 100 m away on foot.
Where is Starlite?
On the 3rd and 5th floors of MH MALL at Mission Hills (Guanlanhu Xincheng), Longhua District. There's dining and entertainment in the mall.
What should I wear?
Comfortable sportswear and non-marking court shoes. Changing rooms are available at Cosmos Arena and Starlite.
How does the Morning Monthly Pass work?
¥198 for 30 days from your first day of play, weekday mornings 09:00 to 12:00 at Cosmos Arena. Personal use only and advance booking is required. If the venue closes for operations or a tournament, your pass is extended.

Pickleball in five minutes
Part tennis, part ping-pong, all fun. Here's the court, the rules that matter, how to keep score and the words you'll hear on court. Then come play.
Small court, big rallies
A pickleball court is 20 × 44 feet, the same size as a badminton doubles court. Games are usually doubles, and everything happens fast near the net.

The rules that matter
Serve underhand, and go diagonal
Stand behind the baseline and hit the ball underhand, with the paddle below your waist. Aim diagonally into the opposite service court. The serve has to clear the kitchen.
- One serve attempt per point
- Serve from the right side when your score is even, left when it's odd
Let it bounce once on each side
The return of serve must bounce, and the next shot back must bounce too. After those two bounces, you can hit the ball in the air (a volley) or off the bounce.
- Bounce 1: the serve lands on the receiving side
- Bounce 2: the return lands on the serving side
No volleys in the kitchen
The kitchen is the 7-foot zone on each side of the net. You can't volley while standing in it or touching its line. You can step in any time to hit a ball that has bounced.
- Momentum counts: don't fall into the kitchen after a volley
- Soft shots into the kitchen are called dinks
Lines are in
A ball that lands on any line is in. The one exception: a serve that lands on the kitchen line is out.
- You lose the rally if you hit the ball out or into the net
- You also lose it for volleying from the kitchen or before two bounces
Keeping score
Only the serving side wins points. Games go to 11, and you have to win by 2.
In doubles, call three numbers before every serve:

The first serve of a game is always called "0-0-2", so only one player serves before the other side gets a turn.
Talk like a regular
Dink
A soft shot from near the net that drops into the other kitchen.
Kitchen
The 7-foot non-volley zone on each side of the net.
Volley
Hitting the ball in the air before it bounces.
Third-shot drop
A soft shot by the serving side that lands in the kitchen, so you can move up to the net.
Drive
A fast, low, hard-hit shot.
Rally
The back-and-forth of shots until someone makes an error.
Side out
When the serving side loses the serve to the other team.
DUPR
A player rating from 2.0 to 8.0 used to group players by level.

Who we are
This policy explains how Ramsports Group Holdings Limited ("Ramsports", "we", "us") handles personal information when you use this website, send us a request or play at our venues.

What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us through the forms on this site:
- Court booking requests: your name, WeChat ID or email, venue, date, time, length of play and number of players.
- Lesson, pass and session requests: your name, WeChat ID or email, and the details you add about your level and goals.
- Event quote requests: your name, contact details, company or organisation, event type, venue, date, number of guests and notes.
- Newsletter and Luohu opening alerts: your email address or WeChat ID.
- Your language choice, which is saved in your own browser so the site opens in the language you picked.
We do not ask for ID numbers, payment details or passwords on this website.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and confirm bookings, lessons, passes and events.
- To send the newsletter or opening alerts you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To run and improve our venues, programmes and website.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep request details for as long as we need them to serve you and keep proper records, and then delete or anonymise them. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to marketing. Email events@ramsports.com.cn and we will reply within a reasonable time, in line with the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and other applicable laws.
Children
Our junior programmes are booked by parents or guardians. If you are under 14, please ask a parent or guardian to send any request for you.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No website is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive information through the forms.
